Fife Council ran a consultation, concluding on 24 December 2009, on its proposed Local Plan. The Local Plan has to conform to the framework set by the Structure Plan, so this consultation assumed that Penny Uprichard’s challenge to the Structure Plan will fail. If that legal action succeeds, a new basis for the Local Plan will need to be determined.
To alert residents of the town to some of the major Local Plan issues, the Community Council issued a newsletter.
We have also submitted a detailed response to the proposed Local Plan.
