St Andrews Week 2011

You are invited to submit artwork or photography for this exhibition in any of the following categories.
- Artwork Junior - under 18 years
- Artwork Senior - over 18 years
- Photography Junior - under 18 years
- Photography Senior - over 18 years
A panel will judge the entries in each of the sections.
How to enter
We would be delighted to receive entries for all of the categories between 5 and 9 pm on Monday 21 to Thursday 24 November at 31 Irvine Crescent, St Andrews KY16 8LG, or between 7 and 7.30 pm Wednesday 23 November at the Art Club, Argyle Street. Please be on time, as work will not be accepted once the Photo club meeting starts. A completed entry form should be attached to the back of each exhibit.
Invigilation - Senior entrants only
Help with invigilation is requested during one of the following periods. The Community Council has volunteers for each of the periods but, some people are doing more than one period and we would like extra support if available.

Conditions of Entry
- Each artist is restricted to a maximum of 6 entries. No judge may submit entries.
- Each work must have full details as stipulated on the entry form.
- There will be no hanging fee but, for exhibitors who are unable to assist with setting-up or invigilating the exhibition, a commission of 25% will be charged on their works sold.
- Pictures in the Art sections may not be hung unless they are properly framed. They should be provided with adequate and secure rings with masking tape to avoid scratching of other frames. We ask artists to pay very particular attention to these points.
- Entries in the Photography sections may be in colour or black and white with a minimum size of 6" x 8", mounted on board. Photographically and digitally processed prints are equally acceptable.
- The committee will not be responsible for defective arrangements, faulty packing or storage, fire, accident, theft, negligence or any other cause, which may damage works.
- The committee will not insure exhibits. Exhibitors may therefore wish to insure their own works.
- All entries should not have been exhibited before in this exhibition.
- The closing date for entries is Thursday 24th November.
- There is a prize giving on Saturday 26 November at 10:00, light refreshments and home baking will be available.
